Bury Tigers   1       Moreton Hall YFC      2
Sponsored by Denholm transport Hall started brightly putting Tigers on the back foot for 15 minutes with probing runs from White and Firrell. The home side then had a spell of pressure with several corners being forced and a couple of good saves from Mills preventing them from scoring, however 2 minutes from half time Tigers took the lead when hall failed to clear and Horrocks pounced on the ball to slot home.

Tigers started the second half well but halls defence of Bevan,Henwood,Scarfe,Young and man of the match Gathercole stood strong. Tireless running from Robinson helped by Warner and Barrett were begining to ask questions from tigers defence and from a free kick awarded outside the area Hall equalised when Gathercoles shot rebounded off a post to Rookyard who smashed an unstoppable shot into the roof of the net from 12 yards.

As both teams went for the win in this entertaining game it was the away side that grabbed the winner from a Young throw in Williams shrugged off a defender and hit a fierce shot that the home keeper got a hand too but the ball rolled into the net.

Ipswich Valley Rangers B  (1)   3   v    Moreton Hall YFC     (1)   3

Hall sponsored by Denholm transport travelled to Ipswich to play Rangers with only 10 players,in driving wind and rain.

Hall started with the wind behind their backs and took the game to high flying Rangers, and it was no surprise when they took the lead,Gathercole latching on to a fine through ball from Robinson and firing home from twelve yards.Halls defence of Mills in goal, Bevan,Barrett,Henwood and Williams were immense thwarting any danger from the home side.Hall doubled their lead when White raced through from a Mills kick to fire home.
Robinson,Gathercole,Firrell and Miller battled well in midfield whilst White held the front line up on his own.
Rangers pulled one back just before half time.
Gathercole injured in the first half failed to appear for the second half, leaving Hall with only nine players to see out the match.
however it was still H all asking questions of the home defence and went further in front when Robinson jinxed his way into into the box and crossed across the goal for Miller to slot home.
Hall held out until deep deep into stoppage time and tiredness creeping in Rangers scored from a scramble in the box.
with the referee indicating one more corner for the home side which Hall cleared he then awarded them another one from which they scored which was very harsh .Never the less all of the players played extremely well and can be very proud of themselves
man of the match, was hard to pick out one individual, but Barrett played superbly as all the players did and deserved the accolade
